The people who lives in the flooded towns. The Mayors of the towns because they must find a way to get rid of the water and keep the population happy. Also the president of the USA because the floods are in his country. Also the animals in the area for drowning and or haveing to leave their destroyed homes.

Town people - losing their homes, cars, furniture, ect. Therefore losing money.

Mayors of Towns - for having to keep the town people happy and finding a way to fix this problem.

The president of the USA - for losing money nad towns to this flood, and having to deal with this problem.

The animals - for drowning, having their homes destroyed and having to leave where they live,  having their homes destroyed and having to leave where they live.

the king of Saudi Arabia and the president of Iran.

Article Made: Sunday, 4 March 2007.

Picture location:http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/6415605.stm

What’s the issue?

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the Saudi Arabian king, King Abdullah, have agreed to work together to fight sectarianism in the Middle East. Mr. Ahmadinejad made an announcement about it, which is very rare that he does. He said that the two countries would stand and fight the “Enemy Plots” seeking to divine the Muslim world. This summation comes from the sectarian division and tension in Iraq and Lebanon. Saudi Arabia has a diplomatic past months to counterbalance what it sees as Iran’s growing influence in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestinian territories. Saudi Arabia, a Sunni power region, and Iran that is a Shia powered region, have made themselves an alliance with groups from opposing political sides.

Who is involved?

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because he is one of the people who are making this happen. The king of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah for making the agreement with The Iranian president. The people who live in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Lebanon. Also the military forces of Lebanon and Iraq.

Who is affected and how?

The President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad because he has to do much work and the king of Saudi Arabia because he has to do loads of treatys and discussions. Also the Leabnon and Iraqi military forces.

What would I do if I was directly involved?

I would keep working on sectarianism and try to get the people to follow me. I would ask for treaties with other countries to secure the sectarianism in the middle east. i would also try to demand that Iraq and Lebanon stop fighting and make a peace treaty.

The Indonesian goverment needs forgein help to devlop a bird flu vaccine to help humans,  but the lack of techology is keeping them down said an official.

Indonesia served notice last week it will not cooperate with a pandemic flu vaccine that does not look after the needs of the local Indonesian people. There was very little suprisement among the international observers who have long worried.

Indonesia’s shot across the bow may finally make the world try to rectify the troubling inequities in pandemic preparations. Nations are pressured to share information about the bird flu for global good but they are crowded out of pandemic drug and vaccine markets.

The Indonesian Government said they would not share H5N1 virus samples if they were to be commercialized by drug companies.

Indonesia is providing virus samples to Baxter International, which in return will give the Indonesian government the technology they need to make a vaccine

They are connected by: They both write about bird flu research. What I found interesting about this topic: What i found interesting about this topic was that it has something to do about the bird flu which has had no cure for us humans and animals.

how important religion was in the middle ages.

February 25th, 2007 by kristianrognli in Uncategorized · No Comments

Religion was very important in the Middle Ages as they went on long crusades to recapture the holy land and they went on pilgrimages to. Some people actually spent their whole life walking from town to town to spread the word of the lord, these men were called friars. The priests, bishops and the pope had a lot of power in those days. The pope had the most power and then came the bishop who also had a lot of power just less than the pope and the priest who had a little power. The monks spent their whole lives copying bibles, helping the sick and poor and teach the people about Jesus and God. the monks had a lot of land, and their land and buildings were called monasteries. i think that religion was very important in those days.

History

HISTORY

Definition of History in my words
I think that history is a time that has already been by, the past. Something we can study.

Is It Important?
History is very important. Without it we wouldn’t know how to fly, walk, drive, eat, find food, find water. Everything is related to history. We would never for example have planes and fly and transport with it because first we would have to study Leonardo Da Vinci’s human plane. And therefore the Wright brothers wouldn’t have gotten the idea and plans of making a plane and so we wouldn’t have planes and fast transportation.

Do We Need It?
Yes. We need it because we would never for example have planes and fly and transport with it because first we would have to study Leonardo Da Vinci’s human plane. And therefore the Wright brothers wouldn’t have gotten the idea and plans of making a plane and so we wouldn’t have planes and fast transportation.

Should We Study It?
Yes we should study it. Some of you may think it is boring and or useless. But it is not. Maybe boring but it is useful. Because We would never for example have planes and fly and transport with it because first we would have to study Leonardo Da Vinci’s human plane. And therefore the Wright brothers wouldn’t have gotten the idea and plans of making a plane and so we wouldn’t have planes and fast transportation. That is why we need to study it.
